PCS season (May - July) means we are extra busy here at Larry's Woodworkin'. It is almost like our holiday rush in the late fall but during the summer.
Everyone is ordering plaques and going away gifts or awards for their military members who are moving on to the next duty station. This also means our typical production time could be a little longer than normal. So remember to try to plan ahead and get your orders in as soon as you can. This will help to avoid the need to add a rush fee to your order to be certain your have your personalized item by the date you need it.
We get it things come up last minute. We do offer the ability to rush your order when necessary. Just be sure you check with us before you place your order to make sure we can accommodate your request.
What exactly does a rush order fee do to your order? A rush fee on your order means we are going to be working later than normal to work your order into our production and get it completed and out on time (based on when you need it).
Typical turn around on a custom order can be anywhere from 1-3 weeks (business days). We do try to get them out as soon as we can. Some of that time is simply waiting on replies from our customers about their digital proofs. All custom orders get a digital proof that needs to be approved. If we wait a week for a reply that is a week that your item could have been in production. Always check your email regularly if you have ordered a custom item or personalized item.
Shipping time is 2-3 days typically as we usually ship priority mail.
